My very first tattoo was off the wall, after going through hundreds of flashes i see this scorpion i want.
I get it done, but after that i think i dont want something somebody else may get done.
To me tattoos are a way of being unique.
So every tattoo i've had since my 1st i've designed it myself, or had someone design it.

Wow, I like this poll. it's not very often I'm in the majority!
I have had 'off the wall' designs before - I've got two large Cherry Creek koi carp designs at the moment, and soon to become four. But I figured, that nobody is likely to get them as large I did, and nobody is likely to get as many?
They're all being incorporated to a free-hand custom full backpiece I'm getting too...
Apart from that, all of my tattoos were designed by myself... It's only a good thing if you're a good artist. Unfortunately I'm not, so many of them are getting covered by the backpiece.... Oops |

I am new here...duh...but I got my first tat from flash(two hearts...aww) and then my second(a fish), after that I was inspired to do my own ever since. I've been inspired by other tattoos of course, but I try to become obsessed with one idea for a while and then do it. My current obsession is waves and I'm finishing up a half sleeve.
I"M SO EXCITED!!

I've always said...if you MUST get flash, at least add something or change the colour or do SOMETHING to make it your own.
Showing up at prom with the same dress as someone else can be devastating, but having the exact same tattoo as someone else...well now.
At least you can take a dress off.

`tattoo flash isn't supposed to be copy and paste . . . it's designed to allow you to communicate what you're leaning toward to the artist and you should collaborate and take it from there . . .
c'mon now . . . too much thought goes into the tattoo process to just surrender yourself to that trash . . . the only people i know that have tattoo flash are frat boys . . . lol . . . and my beau . . .
unless it's some traditional sailor jerry i'd highly advise against it . . .
